These two problems have to do with factoring polynomials by grouping...how do I do this? I need steps, not just the answer.

1. 10x^3 + 20x^2 + x +2
2. 2x^3 - x^2 + 2x -1

Thanks!

If data collected of CO, plotting the data and fitting a curve to the resulting scatter plot yielded the function COs(x)=e^-2.465+0.028x, where x is the speed in miles per hour. The units for CO2(x) are grams per second (g/sec). Convert the CO to grams/mile, then determine the speed that minimizes the CO in terms of grams/mile.
grams/second(conversion factors)=(grams per mile)

If you can answer this in the next 30-40 minutes, I will bow to you. I need this solution for extra credit, and i spent 2 hours on it last night. Please Help, It would really be appreciated.

I TRIED SOLVING IT BUT I DONT KNOW IF AM RIGHT

Ca (OH) 2 (S) + HNO3 (aq)>>>>> 2H2O (l) + Ca (NO3)2 (aq)

Ca (OH) 2 (S)=-986.1 kj/mole
+
2HNO3 (aq) = -414.8 kj/mole
= -1400.9 kj/mole

2H2O (l)= 571.6 kj/mole
+
Ca (NO3)2 (aq) = -938.4 kj/mole
=-1510

-1510-(-1400.9)= -109.1

the mole for Ca(OH)2 (s)= .2985450115

and the moles for HNO3=2.1376
