When we humans finally grow up and mature to the point that we can let go of our "fears," we'll find that human cloning is a wonderful, wonderful gift of nature. If nothing else, human cloning will be the first step (and maybe the only step required) to significantly extend the human life span.
We should be developing this technology, not baning it.

Human cloning and genetic manipulation will finally put science and Judeo-Christianity on the same boat. According to the book of Genesis (Creation story) humans actually came from cloning. It suggests that the first woman (Eve) was cloned and perhaps genetically manipulated (gender determining chromosomes) from the first man (Adam ) which must also have been a product of tissue culture. Human Cloning will only show that Science have finally caught up with Judeo-Christianity.

Not to make people. Sexual reproduction is good for our gene pool and we should stick with it.
Plus, even with improvements to our currently mediocre mammalian cloning technology, if we started making human clones, how would we know it's safe and would produce healthy clones until we made some and they lived full, normal lives? And until we know it's safe, it's not ethical to make human clones. Nobody deserves to live their life as a failed science experiment, especially a frivolous science experiment.

I think cloning human parts is a great idea. I think cloning people is a horrible idea. We already have 6 billion and change and really don't need more.

I think it's ridiculous. When will man stop trying to play God?
I think if we could clone organs it would be great for people who have failing organs and then there wouldn't be such a demand for organs and organ donors. However, to clone a human is just pathetic and we should leave the creating up to God. Psh how typical of man...
