a helium -filled weather balloon is launched from the ground where the pressure is 752mmHg and the temperature is 21c. Under these conditions its volume is 75.0 L. When it has climbed to an altitude where the pressure is 89mmHg and temperature is 0c, what is it's volume. I get 8.24, but I think I am incorrect, can someone lend a hand.

Did you know that a scientist set fire to salt-water and has possibly found way a to end the energy crisis?
Check out these articles below.

Has that process ever had money towards research put into it? Salt water is the most abundant resource on the planet. This could end the oil crisis.Has it been fully researched? Do microwaves really require that much energy? Would it be possible to do with a home microwave and an internal source of ignition? I know the method mentioned is a recent discovery according to the article but, I learned through a previous question this method has been around for years. Someone mentioned that the process required more initial energy than it produced, but if it also produces drinkable water, would the combined benefits on the world scale outweigh the increased drain on energy resources?

On its banner the other day Yahoo threw bouquets at Alexis Lemaire for a new world record in calculating the 13th root of a 200 digit number in 72 secs. With a computer.
In 1977, Shakuntala Devi extracted the 23rd root of a 201 digit number mentally. In 1980 she mentally multiplied two 13 digit numbers in 28 secs. Her answer was 18, 947, 668, 177, 995, 426, 462, 773, 730.

The atmosphere in Jupiter is very deep, perhaps comprising the whole planet, and is somewhat like the Sun. It is composed mainly of hydrogen and helium, with small amounts of methane, ammonia, water vapor and other compounds. At great depths within Jupiter, the pressure is so great that the hydrogen atoms are broken up and the electrons are freed so that the resulting atoms consist of bare protons. This produces a state in which the hydrogen becomes metallic. If there was an atomic "starter" could that create a new star with limited fuel

Strange things happen at my house. When I am near lights, they stop working right when I need them to come on,I sometimes wakeup with weird scratches on me, all of my family hears weird things in the house, have seen things move etc... Really odd stuff. There are 2 teenages in the house, maybe a poltergeist? We've talked to alot of people who moved from our town because their house was haunted, what do you think?
Please, this is a serious question, no sarcastic/rude answers....

It's just how it sounds. What is the term for someone dreaming about some physical object and waking up with it in their hands and they never had it before of course!

At 25°C, gaseous SO2Cl2 decomposes to SO2(g) and Cl2(g) to the extent that 12.5% of the original SO2Cl2 (by moles) has decomposed to reach equilibrium. The total pressure (at equilibrium) is 0.900 atm. Calculate the value of Kp for this system. ---I keep gettinng the wrong answer on this one. What are you getting?
