heyy everyone!!! HOW DO U CHANGE A DECIMAL INTO A FRACTION???????

a decimal say 0.35 is like saying 35/100. 35/100=0.35
if we then take 35/100, we can simplify it to 7/20.
another example:
0.4675=4675/10000=187/400
you put the mumerical part of the decimal over 100 or 1000 etc.
if tis 0.098=98/1000=49/500.
the 0 still counts as a number so the bottom number is the right size.

If you have 1 d.p the denominator is 10
2 dec places, the denominator is 100
with other words, the number of decimal places detrmine the number of zero's in your denominator. Just simplify the fraction them
e.g 0.125 = 125/1000 numerator and denominator to be divided by 125 = 1/8

1. 45 = 1 and 45/100 (simplify fraction ÷ 5)
1 and 9/20

0.25 = 25/100 = 5 / 20 = 1/4
0.75 = 75 / 100 = 3 / 4

first, you should divide it by a multiple of 10 like,
0.25=25/100 then simplify,
(25/100)/(25/25)=1/4
