Given the situation in the figure below. The mass m1 is 0.64 kg and it is located at x1 = 30 cm. The pivot point is represented by the solid triangle located at x = 45 cm. The mass of the meter stick (mms = 0.40 kg) is located at its geometric center, xms = 50 cm. The mass m2 is 0.25 kg and it is located at x2 = 80 cm. Calculate the net torque (in N⋅m with the proper sign) due to these three weights. Use g = 9.8 m/s2.

There is a picture of a ruler with weights hanging at the locations listed above.

Steep lapse rates are often used to predict whether an innocent band of convective showers without any lightning could create enough static electricity to produce lightning and hence thunderstorms. During tornado season in the United States, you will often hear the term used a lot by meteorologists when severe convective weather is imminent.

What would these two equations be when they are balanced:

H20 + SO2H2--->H2SO4

and

CaO2H2 + SO2--->CaSO4 + H2O

(the big numbers are supposed to be the little ones at the bottom of the letters...i just couldn't do it on the comp)

What type of chemical reaction are they synthesis, single replacement, double replacement, combustion, or decomposition?

Then:

Which reaction is endothermic or exothermic?

Enerygy + Reactant--->Product

Reactant--->Product + Energy

A 3000 kg car is parked at the top of a 6.9 m long driveway that is sloped at 16 degrees with the horizontal. The parking brake fails. If an average friction force of 4100 N impedes the motion, find the speed of the car at the bottom of the driveway. The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s^2. Answer in units of m/s.
