I recently inherited a "meteorite" which was claimed to be verified as such by an "expert". It is heavy, has a dark molten pitted appearance, and was not typical of the rocks in the area (desert). I believe that it meets all the criteria of a meteorite except that it is not magnetic (or is very weak). I would appreciate any knowledgeable input. Thanks

THis is the question: Conrad's Taxi Service charges $1.50 for the first mile and $.90 for each additional mile. How far can Mrs.Sheehan go for $20 if she gives the driver a $2 tip?

I have done some work on this but I sont know if im correct or solving it properly.

Steps:
1.) $20 - $2(tip) + $18
2.) $18 - $1.50 ( 1st mile) = $16.50
3.) $16.50/divided by $.90 =18 and 1/3 miles.
4.) 18 1/3 miles + that 1st mile that was 1.50 = 19 1/3 total miles.
Does this sound coorect. Even if it does could youplease explain to me if you know how to solve this in any other ways.
If this is wrong could you also please explain?
THanks <3

Im a bit skeptical of how the big bang was created since its the only thing scientists can think.

If the galaxies and stuff were created by the big bang what created the big bang, and if something did create the big bang what created that, etc

IF you can convince ill be gay and atheist

Please let me know if it is worth the struggle. And how do you like your major? Do you regret that you took this major? Also did you switch your major from engineering?
