In a general equation y = mx + b
m is the slope.

y = 2x - 12 m = 2
y = -2/3x + 1 m = -2/3

10x + 5y = -15
5y = -10x - 15
y = -2x -3 m = -2

4/5x - 16y = 30
16y = 4/5x + 30
y = 1/20x + 30/16 m = 1/20

Slope is the number before x after you put the equation into slope intercept form (y=mx+b)
1. 2
2. -2/3
3. 5y=-10x-15
y=-2x-3, -2
4.y=1/20x-30/16, 1/20

The slope is the number in front of the x.
1. 2
2. -2/3

Then with the last two you have to get everything normal.

3. Subtract 10x and then you have
5y= -10x-15
Then you divide by 5 and get
y= -2x-3
and that gives you a slope of -2

y=mx+b; m=slope; b=intercept
so,
1. m=2
2. m=-2/3
3. m=-2
4. m=1/20
