Im a bit skeptical of how the big bang was created since its the only thing scientists can think.

If the galaxies and stuff were created by the big bang what created the big bang, and if something did create the big bang what created that, etc

IF you can convince ill be gay and atheist

I agree with you man. Here is something funny just to make you more skeptic about the big bang. Scientist believe that the further you look away from the earth the older the light is. This is true in a physics sense. But then if you account that nothing can travel fast than the speed of light how did we get here faster than the light did? If we all came from a central location (including light) then wouldn't the light of really old galaxies and star be moving at the same speed we are. This makes it impossible for us to see back in time. With this said if you research the big bang theory all of it is based on the fact that when we look really far away we are seeing the beginning of the universe. Which, as i just explained, is impossible.

It is really almost as if there are not some huge things to learn about right here and now. Instead of doing that some folks insist on discussing and querying what came before the begining, and what will happen after the end.

Who knows?

There were no official scribes present to write it all down for us to read about in later years. Pen and paper had not been invented yet. Language was not even established yet. And still some ask the witless questions as if there is an answer waiting to be read off of a slate somewhere in New York, Moscow, or Paris.

The other thing you might do to break the repetitiveness and silly jammer about this is to come up with a well researched and adequately documented theory of your own if you do not buy into the Big Bang Theory. Or, do you just feel that it is much, much easier to cast disparaging remarks onto the theories of others than it is to come up with some original thinking on your own?

lindajune gives the classic answer to this question and she will be backed up by any scientist. It does seem ludicrous to think that all of the universe could come from nothing, however a previous posting to site said that there is potential energy in a vacuum, assuming that there was only a vacuum before the big bang, it had to be the mother of all vacuums, perhaps something triggered this potential energy to focus into the singularity of the big bang. This is like a drowning man clutching at a straw, but it's something to think about.

The big bang says that all matter in the universe was at one time condensed into a speck smaller than an electron (which is the smallest complete particle in existence). No one, and I repeat, NO ONE (that we know of) knows why the big bang happened...why that matter suddenly expanded and created our huge universe

frankly i'm more concerned about the name itself of the theory. why on earth would it be called a big bang? assuming it actually did happen, that means all the matter was condensed into the smallest particle ever created, and as there would have been no air to carry the noise, no one would have heard a bang if it happened. So perhaps instead of the "big bang" theory, we should call it the "small quiet" theory......oh i hope i'm not the only one who sees the humor in that :)

1) Only thing? Ever heard of steady state theory? I'm guessing not.

2) Galaxies formed about a billion years after the big bang. You might want to read up on it a bit. You seem a little confused.

3) Probably the result of a previous universe collapsing.

4) Trust me, the gays don't want you.

5) Not really sure how you got 'gay and atheist' out of that. Are you just naming all the people you don't like? Are you black now too?

THE ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSE

A new star forming out of a cloud of gas and dust (nebula), which is one of the remnants of the "smoke" that was the origin of the whole universe. (The Space Atlas, Heather and Henbest ) ...

The Koran mentions that at a stage in its origin, THE UNIVERSE WAS A "GASEOUS MASS" (Koran 41:11).It uses the Arabic word Dukhan, WHICH STANDS FOR SMOKE. A PERFECT ANALOGY FOR GAS and particles in suspension and the gasses being hot.

Scientists have only very recently confirmed that the universe did indeed originate from a gaseous mass composed of HYDROGEN AND HELIUM, a big mass of hot gasses. The Koran is more accurate in describing the gasses as "smoke" rather than the word "mist" used frequently by scientists as the gasses were hot.

How could Muhammad, who lived 1400 years back, have composed this material? He could not have, even if he had all the help in the world, at the time.
--------
Anyway, as we clearly see above in the Noble Verses, Allah Almighty initially created the Universe or the "samaa" WITH SMOKE (Dukhan). Dukhan in Arabic refers to the smoke coming from fire, which is always HOT GAS. A new star forming out of a cloud of gas and dust (nebula), which is one of the remnants of the "smoke" that was the origin of the whole universe. (The Space Atlas, Heather and Henbest, page 50) Allah Almighty said: "Then He turned to the heaven when it was smoke...(The Noble Quran, 41:11)" The Noble Quran on the Origin of the Universe Only Islam claims that the universe was originated from Dust and Hot Gas, or Smoke.

"Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we CLOVE THEM ASUNDER

Well, according to my science book, the universe was a whirling cloud of dust and stuff called a nebula. It started to condense and spin faster, and then the pressure was too great so it exploded. And that's the Big Bang!

But, then you'd ask, what caused the nebula? Well (even if people may disagree with this) I think God and the Big Bang are both real. God just caused the Big Bang.

Hope this helps!

this is a common question. but you see, there actually isnt a 'before' the big bang. as time was actually so warped due to the density of all matter in the universe at the moment of hte big bang. that it turned into a loop.

my advice is to either read up on the more complicated theories or let this thing to rest. the big bang is not a big explosion as the name seems to suggest.

There are no answers.

Scientists are able to extrapolate events from the first nano-seconds after the Big Bang began until today.
But they can't see or extrapolate to the actual moment of the Big Bang. What came before and what caused it to happen are all conjecture - anyone's opinion or guess is as good as anyone elses.

Big bang is nonsense..Most humans believe in BigBang and etc..its because they cant face the fact the God created the Universe and created humans with limited minds....arrogant..
