heh, this is for some take home quiz and the question is worded exactly like this

not sure if the lamps were turned on in the first place but that is probably assumed

answer choices include:
a- Both maps would be off
b- L1 would be on and L2 would be off
c- L1 would be off and L2 would be on
d- Both lamps would be on

i think the answer would be d because of the solder bridge but not sure...

and also, what if L1 was opened instead of shorted?

what do you guys think? (thanks for the help guys)

It has to be an experiment, nothing too simple (no volcanoes, etc.) and can be on chemistry, biology, or physics. I'd really like to do something on animals (I have a dog, so if I could use him to help in some way, that would be great) but it can't be anything too fancy, as I don't have the knowledge or the access to many scientific tools. I really want something original. I have until December.

Are there different kinds of crystals, or are they all the same? I may sound like scifi but has anyone tried to see if it might work. Looking for a cleaner way to get to the star. Do they need to use nuclear reaction to get there. This may sound like Star Trek but has anyone look into it? You need to think out side to box.

With all this pollution and green house gases etc. I was wondering if anything of this nature escaped the earth's atmosphere and got into space - or does it get trapped by our gravitational field.
