Hey all !! im 17 years old and will finish high school in about 4-5 months. So ive been looking around and doing some research on what type of career i want to have and the Electrical Engineer career sounds very fun and interesting, And my dad has always wanted me to be some type of engineer. I'd like a few Electrical Engineers to tell me what are the college requirements for this career, Or is an apprenticeship possible ? And also exactly how long did it take to get a job as an Engineer right after you finished school and an approximate starting pay would be cool to know too (I live in NYC). I need help finding the y-intercepts, and the vertexs.

1) find the vertex and the y-intercept.
y=2x²+4x+2

2) find the vertex and the y-intercept.
y=-3x²+12x-9

How do you find it? Show/work explain please.

For the 1) I got 2(x²+2x+1) is y=2(x+1)²+1 for the vertex. Which is (1,-1) but its wrong why?

Well, even if you construct a heptagon, and you divide that way, there is an error. Angle is 51.428571 and period is repeting "428571". So we dont have 100% sure division of a circle. Do you have an idea? This is a centuries and centuries old problem, Karl F. Gauss and Kepler also. If you say Circumference is 21, and divided by 7 would be 3 then diametar of that circle is 2.228169203286535
