Just part of a Chem. question.

If the molarity of acetic acid is 0.01735 moles/liter, what is the percent acidity of 10.23 mL vinegar?

P.s.- Acetic acid is 60 grams per mol.

I know the Jacobi symbol is typically all we can work with for composite N when attempting to discern whether a given residue A is a quadratic residue mod N.

However, what if we have a composite N with a special property (it will thus be a pseudoprime to base A): what if A^((N-1)/2) actually IS congruent to either 1 or -1 even though N is composite? Would this always be an accurate result for whether or not A is a quadratic residue mod N?

In other words, if A^((N-1)/2) mod N does equal 1, does that mean A is necessarily a quadratic residue mod N even for composite N? If it equals -1, does that mean A is necessarily a quadratic nonresidue mod N even for composite N?

If you assume there are three significant figures in the number, would 72,000 = 7.20 x 10^2 or 7.20 x 10^4? The significant numbers should be the "7,20" right?

If you write the following in standard, nonexponential form would 3.86 x 10^-6 = 0.00000386?

If you write that same number in common decimal form, is it the same? If so, why would it be specified to write them in "common decimal" instead of "standard, nonexponential" form?

Man, I thought I understood this stuff when I left class, haha...

No, that is not exactly correct. While it is true that one characteristic of the common collector (emitter follower) is that its voltage gain is very nearly unity, its current gain can be much higher (equal to Beta in fact) and it can demonstrate a "power gain" as a result.

In the common collector (emitter follower) configuration,
!!!!!current gain = Ie / Iin, Beta(ac)!!!!!! is the maximum achievable current gain in both common-collector and common-emitter amplifiers.
