My mom found this spider in our hall way and we have no idea what it is. It has what seams to be 6 legs but it has 2, I guess mini legs, in the front of its body the it uses as well. We have had it in a little container trying to suffacate it and its been like 24 hours and it still hasn't died. We planned on killing it so we could examine it better, but we're not having any luck. It's body is about 1.5 cm long and about 1/2 cm wide. I'm not sure what it is but maybe someone else does. I hope someone can help me out... Thanks in advance.

Rather than the chances of getting a sun burn on a dry sun shiny day? I seem to be easily getting sun burn here in alabama with the high humidity, as with in sandiego california, where dry heat is the norm, i hardly ever got burnt and it could be like 100 degrees out, as to where here I seem to be easily burnt.

A blue car with a mass of mcar = 2000 kg and a yellow truck with mass mtruck = 9000 kg enter an intersection. The truck comes from the south at vtruck = 7 m/s, and the car comes from the west. When the two collide they stick together and slide at an angle of q = 43° north of east.

What is the speed of the pair after the collision?

I went to the Creation Museum (no bashing please!) and in the intro, they mentioned how that method of dating was innaccurate and that it was based on many assumptions. All it mentioned was that the decay rate was different in the past. Then in a different part of the museum said that this method was used to date rocks from the Most recent Mt. St. Helen's explosion 300,000 years old. How is that possible?
