If i read one more question with that as its basis i will go crazy. Charles Darwin never said that. We have a common anscestor, but we split. We are not evolved from apes! But no matter the number of times people are told, there is always another question asking the same thing!!

According to current thinking (Big Bang, Relativity, String, etc.), at the "beginning" there was nothing. Then the universe expands, and Space and Time has meaning and existence only within that expanding universe. So,

Space is clearly not "nothing". What is it?
