I want a visual of how the earth rotates around the sun. Also, i'd like to know if the sun itself rotates? I really want to get a better understanding of everything. I was told today that many of the stars are actually bigger in size than earth. Is this true? I just want to find more info on everything. I'm a visual type of guy. I learn better if I see. Any suggestion on videos or documentaries? I just don't understand everything in this rotating system. Please don't laugh. You can't knock a guy for wanting to learn.

While sitting on the airport tarmac, other passengers and I were pondering how we would make up the 2 hours lost on the ground....whether by having tail winds, or flying the direction opposite the rotation of the earth.

Perhaps it is merely a perception problem. Perhaps all things are points but "behave" like strings because the universe is rocking. So the points are percieved to be strings when examined.
