The phone digit 1 is a combination of 2 frequencies.
1209hz + 697hz

Now, if you had 2 seperate speaker that played each frequency, would you hear the combination of the 2 frequencies, or would you be able to make a distinction?

I gues the answer would depend on the speakers placement proportional to your ears.
If they were at the exact same distance, it would appear as the combination. If there was any deviance to the placement of the speakers, then you would be able to differentiate the signals.

I believe that to be true. I just wish I had the equipment.

I was doing matter in my physics course and i was working on derviving a formula for potential energy of atoms when forced out of equilibrium, but from the initial form of 0= e [ K^16 - 2*K^6 ]
When derviving you get the form K^16 = 2*K^6
(when K is equilibrium seperation over displacement, but their both the same figures, i think )
But yeah, i can see how you get there but that doesn't make sense mathematically and surely isnt true, so how can the final form be true if that isn't?
( r = r' / 2^1/6 )

Subject to: x1 + x2 >= 12
2x1 + 5x2 >= 40
x1, x2 >= 0
What is minimum cost Z=??

Has anyone ever figured out, exactly, what quasars are? Are they just galaxies with highly energetic radio jets in their cores, or are they something entirely different? Also, where can I find a book on active galactic nuclei that's written for lay persons, not astrophysics majors?

Consider the reaction:

2 NaHCO 3(s) <==> Na 2CO 3(s) + CO 2(g) + H 2O(g)

Match the following four changes to the reaction with their effect on the equilibrium.

____Mg(ClO 4) 2(s) is added as a drying agent to remove H 2O.

____NaHCO 3(s) is added.

____Dry ice (solid CO 2) is added.

____0.20 atm of argon gas is added.

1.
The reaction shifts towards the reactants.
2.
The reaction shifts towards the products.
3.
The change has no effect on the equilibrium.

Why it can't be divided by every number?

e.g.:

6 / 0 is undetermined.
Why? because 0*0 is not 6. So, what can be done to make that 0 become 6? Why is 0 so misterious?
