Calcium oxalate (CaC2O4) is a slightly solubleionic compound. Write the chemical equation that represents dissolving CaC2O4 in water:

---I'm not sure if I've got this one exactly right. I think the equation of the ion-product expression of the saturated calcium oxalate is

CaC2O4(s) = Ca 2+(aq) + C2O4 2-(aq)

How do I incorporate water into this reaction? Thanks for the help!

Just had a quick glance at today's headlines and found an interestsing news that Anna Nicole's corpse is now a target of legal battle...A court has ordered the burial of her body within short period of time from now because "Although her body is now refrigerated and seemingly no damages have been done to it; we still recommend speeding up the legal process to have the body buried as soon as possible because any delay may cause damages to her..." This somewhat laughable statement makes me wonder if the refrigeration can cause damages to dead bodies...isn't it supposed to be one of the most effective way to preserve a body?

I needed to post this here because I saw a question by the user "A T" and was kind of disturbed because I have the EXACT same kind of things happen to me. I wasn't satisfied with the answers, so I decided to post this just to get some clarification and in the hope that A T would see this and wouldn't feel alone.

A conversation with a good friend of mine tonight lead me to this place. I wake up at night and most of the time when I look at my clock (which is 10 minutes fast) and it' says "4:44". When I stay at friends houses, I usually wake up and THEIR clocks tell me 4:44.

There are times when I have NO idea what time it is, don't have a watch on, go to my computer, and you guessed it, it's 4:44. My microwave stopped one day at 4:44. I looked at my spedometer the other day on a whim (I never look at it) and it read 190,444.

It's kind of scary, and It's making me a bit anxious lately. It's been going on for years now...
