I have a Tarantula, anything special I should be feeding it?

they eat crickets, bugs, and small birds and reptiles.

They will eat any insect they can sink their fangs into. They will also eat smaller reptiles and amphibions. The other thing I know they will eat if the Tarantula is a female she will eat the male after mateing. You can tell were a females den is during mateing season because there will be sets of legs thrown out around the top of it. The male will enter the den, mate with the female, she will then bite him, tear his legs off and dispose of them by tossing them out the door, then she will continue to feed on him.

Nosy boys who trap them in glass tanks ;-) Kidding, they eat all types of insects ranging from flies, to cockroaches, crickets, grasshoppers, and pretty much anything else similar that you could catch! You may want to get a frog now to help you catch the insects now ;-)

Bugs- my dad had one for a while and I think he fed it crickets. You can buy them live in most pet stores.

from frogs to small snakes..from bats to lizards..everything thats potential to be eaten..
