Well I'm going to go the metaphysical route here - a sequence of 4's indicates that you have divine help and love surrounding you and not to worry - according to the author Doreen Virtue.
A lot of people are seeing number sequences and I really do believe that messages are trying to get through from our spiritual helpers, guardians, whatever you believe in. We are all becoming so much more sensitive - seeing number sequences everywhere is just a part of that and nothing to get concerned about.

When I was pregnant with my youngest I awoke each morning to see the clock saying 4:44. The day she was born labor began at 4:44 am and she was born at 4:44 pm. Since then I rarely wake up at that exact time but she does each day. She's almost 18 years old now. I don't have any explanation to offer but thought I'd share the story anyway. It neither scares us nor does it make us anxious. There may be some significance or then again maybe not.

I would say coincidence. If I think about what time I want to wake up in the morning I can always do it within a minute or so. Typically I think about what time I set my alarm for and I will wake up one minute before it goes off, it's just conditioning. Throughout the day and night I always know what time it is. If I wake up in the middle of the night I can usually guess the exact time, it's just how the mind works.
In your case you are looking for this pattern. If you've seen 4:44 on your computer screen and thinks it's odd then ask yourself, "how many other times did I look at the time?" You may not realize it, but I'll bet it was quite a bit.
Now, if every other number that came up in your life was 444 then I would worry, but I think you're looking too far into the numbers game and only thinking about it when the specific pattern presents itself.

Could be simple, could be complected. Simple answers is that you are stuck on 444. You don't remember the times you looked at clocks and it read 345 or something else. You don't remember when you read your speedometer and it read 10045. You just remember this coincidence when it is 444.
The complected answer is that you somehow know without using your 5 senses, when it is 444 around you. Question is, what happens if you get a 24 hr clock and it reads 1644? Do you see clocks that say something 44, may be it's 4 O'clock somewhere else.
To find out if it is your senses, simply, set all your clocks to an hour ahead or late. And see what happens. For example, if you set them an hour ahead and you wake up at 444, it's your senses. But if you wake up at 344, we need to talk.
Hope this helps.

It seems to me that you are remembering the numbers with
a sequence of 4's and forgetting all the other numerical
sequences that occur on a regular basis. I'm sorry but I
have a hard time believing that as soon as your eyes pop
open, you immediately glance at clock. How long after
you wake up is it before you look at the clock...one minute,
two minutes? What about the other times you look at the
clock or your watch throughout the day?
We all have a "body clock". I generally wake up at 6:30 on
work days. Maybe your body is telling you to wake up around 4:45 for whatever reason...probably because your mind is
stuck on that number or you have to go to the bathroom.

Sounds like a series of coincidences. And that you have good clocks. I can give you a whole physical outlook on this, but heres a biological short one: you somehow programmed yourself to wake up at 4:44, which is possible. Most likely you just randomly woke up at that time one night and for some reason you subconsciously decided to keep doing that. I'll admit that that's strange, but I've had stranger happen. Like I once told the time down to the minute by looking at the sun. That was cool. And strange. I also supposedly lived in a haunted house in Canada when I was young. I don't recall too much of it, but I DO recall that there was a large cemetery directly behind my house. My dad and uncle swear they've seen apparitions, and the lights flickered and the TV liked to switch to sports. And the doors liked to open. Something like that. You can chalk some of it up to old wiring and such, but there is such thing as too many coincidences. :)

yeah.. it happens to me too!!! cept its 6:00 am.. EVERY day. no'matter what day it is.. i wake up, look at the clock and its F@$%@$g 6 am. no matter what day, no matter what time i sleep at night.. i always wake up at 6 a m.
CRAZY isnt it??
in fact it is not, its your biological clock. its quite possible something happens(or happened in the past, Even subcounsously) at around 4:44 am causing you to constantly wake up at that times.. trust me.. i wake up at 6:00 on the exact minute EVERY DAY its so frustrating but its just your bio clock.
also, your being exclusive. that is, you are not noticing when you glance at the clock and its 3:50...the fact is, your good at telling time. If I havent seen the clock in a few hours typically i can guess within 10 or 20 minutes what time it is, and usually i am correct. try guessing without looking more often.. youll find you are surprisingly accurate.
Also there is coincidence.. One day While i was working i saw the number 666 around 6 times in one day in varoious places.. I know for a fact that i am not the antichrist, so it must have been a coincidence.. It happens from time to time. ya just got to laugh it off! :-)

Okay...I'm here with ya on this one. I get it. It's freaky and I don't think it has to do with your biological clock...coincidence...nothing like that. I can't explain it but I can tell you that alot of times, I look at the clock and it's 11:11. 11 seems to be a "spitirual" number so I agree with the person who rotated thier answer around the spirit world. And, yeah...I get a little freaked out too.
I was born June 11th...My kids were born Nov. 11th.......Things that make ya go Hmmmmmmmmmm..
Is there any relation to the # 4 for you?? Birthdays.....whatever? Just wondering. I'm sure you've been over this too.
If you go to www.coasttocoastam.com they do talk about numerology on there and all kinds of interesting things, including pics of apperations, orbs, all kinds of cool stuff. If your'e into that. But you can even email them and they will respond.
It's a radio show as well but I'm not sure where it's from. (I'll need to check that) but it's a really cool show and they are very open to anything. They don't shoot anyone down for anything. They take this stuff very seriously.
Hope you like it if you visit.

it isn't paranormal. A lot of people generally wake up and have a subconscious need to check the time at a specific time each day. Your body's probably just set it's own internal clock to 4:44, and is obsessed with 444. Or maybe you just pick up electromagnetic frequencies that allow digital equipment to register 444, but unlikely.

that happens to me too, except it's not always time. it's the change i get back at the grocery store, it's the price of something i really want, it's my birth year, it was even a number assigned randomly to me by a computer system at work. this number sequence follows me around and i don't know why, but i've learned to find comfort in it. i'd rather think it was from God telling me he's there than some other creepy thing. let it mean what you want it to mean. (mine's not 444)
