There is no doubt we can solve this problem. In fact, we have a moral obligation to do so. Small changes to your daily routine can add up to a big difference in helping to stop global warming. The time to come together to solve this problem is now - TAKE ACTION! AND SPREAD THE WORD!

In my plant, our wastewater tanks are called Molley Browns (specifically, the pH test from the tanks are called that). I have been wondering why, but no one seems to know. Is this a common name across the industry (or at least along the Gulf Coast), or is it just some weird thing that is only at my plant? Thanks.

Does anyone know exactly how to perform spiking? I have a basic idea of what it is.... you add a portion of your standard to the sample. But how much of your standard should you add? Does it matter? eg suppose I want to spike 100 mls of a sample... what do I do?

They say God created everything with a purpose, but I just can't figure out what purpose He had in mind for cockroaches. Seemingly nature's most abundant and hardy form of life, they're also one of the most useless and harmful, from my perspective; all they do is crawl around and spread disease. But if it's true that everything has at least one quality to recommend it, then the same has to be true of these obnoxious little bugs. What, then, are they good for?

Report after report from scientists around the world has been released in the past few months, all pointing clearly the finger at human activities as a cause for global warming.

The report predicts more disasters, more diseases, more overall misery for mankind pretty much all over.

There are still a few Neanderthals out there who deny the Global Warming Theory.

Do you think that mankind deserves its self-made gloomy future, since the vast majority of people are irresponsible, selfish, unwilling to change or make sacrifices, and pretty much only concerned with their own immediate affairs?
