There have been some Cosmologists/Astrophysicists who think that the Speed of Light may not have been constant, i.e. it may have had a different value in the early universe. If this proved to be true, since the Speed of Light is the "constant" C in E=Mc2, does this mean matter and energy would have had a different equivalence rate in an earlier era in the universe's history?

I need the following for each of the bodies senses including the sense of semll( how we interpret smells and what we do), taste, vision, touch, pressure, balance, hearing.

1.Sensory receptor
2.peripheral nerve carrying signal to spinal cord
3. Ascending tract of spinal cord
4. Part of brain that processes the signal
5.Part of brain that is going to initiate motor response
6. Descending tract of spinal cord
7. Peripheral motor nerve
8. What muscle is moved

The measurements of th Uk are aprox 1/2 size of that of france however when i search for pictures of europe from space the Uk appears larger/same size of france. Is this not techincally impossible? i know why the Uk is shown on atlas's as bigger (the british empire wanted the Uk to loook bigger therefore more powerful) but pictures from space shouldnt be like this. Can anyone shed any light on this as im really confused

Is it total atmospheric effect or is there any distance related phenomenon which makes this visual so different? And why is it only some of the time? I'm assuming it's like a big magnifying glass when its closer to the Horizon but why not the same effect in the middle of the daytime (or with the moon nighttime) sky?
