Space/time started at the big bang. Therefore talking about what was before time started is meaningless.

Before the big bang there were a whole lot of other galaxies in existance just minding their own business. Each of those other galaxies contain billions of stars like our Sun and each star has anywhere from 0 to 10 or more planets with untold numbers of moons. They were all here before the Big Bang and will probably still be here after we are all dead and gone.By the way, should something happen to one of them today, right now, we would not learn about it for millions of years due to their extreme distance from Earth.

Dang, people...give it a rest will ya?!? This question gets asked ten or fifteen times a day and the answer is always the same --- nobody anywhere at any time has ever found any answer to what, if anything, existed before the Big Bang.

first off the big bang is not a solid fact.

before the big bang, it was called the singularity, the time BEFORE time. whichh is very hard to concept, and in whic most people try not to think about it because there is no way of knowing.
