If it's storing charge presumably it's mass must be increasing by a tiny tiny amount.

At what point if any does this become measureable?

First problem: a+3/a=12/a. The a stands alone then +3/a. Second: x -21/x=4. This problem x is by itself then -21/x=4z. Third: is 2b/(b+1)=2-5/2b. Again 2 is by itself then -5/2b. the answers are #1. 3,-3 #2. 7,-3 #3. -5 Im having a very had time understanding how to solve. Hope i explained this well...thanks

Hello

I have a 65W stepdown transformer (Input: 230/240 AC, Output 115V AC, 65VA (0.57A)). I live in Australia and it is 220Vs here.

I am aware of 'no-load losses' but I can't calculate roughly how much the transformer is consuming. If I leave this thing on all the time, would anyone be able to tell me how much excess power is being used?

Any equivalents? Would it be the same as leaving a light bulb on all the time? 2 light bulbs? Less? More?

Have I provided enough information? It would be great if anyone could.

I’ve always wondered why in the last century the human mind just took off to another level of higher intelligence?
It's like, it took over 1,900 years & then suddenly we could come up with making decent cars, planes, mobile phones, DVDs, tapes etc etc the list is endless! ‘Most’ of this stuff only happened in the last century, why is that?
And will this burst of technology continue into this century or will it slow down again?

Thanking you in advance!

I'm just looking for opinions and more points of view. My choices are business, computer science, or information science. I can't really decide between them because I may want to get a management position at some point, so then the business minor may come in handy. But I might try to go for an MBA at some point, so a business minor could be redundant. Then I also know computer science would be useful in many areas for an electrical & computer engineer, as would information science. I don't specifically know if I want to get into research or eventually go into management at some point in my life, I'm only 19. I need some other input. I don't expect anyone to specifically tell me which to pick, I just need other people who know engineering to give input as opposed to my dad, who doesn't really know anything about engineering. To him, an electrical engineer almost == electrician. Also, I know I'm making too big a deal about a minor, which probably won't even matter.
