well i'm sure you could. i saw a docu on the box not long ago and you should have seen the size of the udder on this elephant, just walking about with it swinging about, fair play to it though it was trying to share it with the rest of the herd.

A female elephant is called a cow ;)
I'm sure it's possible (baby elephants obviously have figured out the trick), but I don't know any person who has done it. Now I'm curious, so I'm going to ask the elephant keeper at the zoo if they use large breast pumps on the moms to store extra milk for babies.

Yes, a cow (female) elephant could be milked. Her teets are located in the front, between her front legs.
An elephant is NOT a dairy animal, unlike cows, goats, and some camels. She would probably only willingly submit to being milked by a zookeeper she knew and trusted very well. It would never be made available for human consuption. Highly cost prohibative. Also if they were milking an elephant, it would all go to her calf.
Elephant milk would also not be healthy for humans. Milk for elephant calves is to help them grow pound DAILY. Not healthy for humans to drink such high fat milk.
Long and short of it is, you will probably never be able to taste elephant milk in your lifetime.

For being a mammal you can technically milk an elephant but I don't think there is such a place where you can sample elephants milk!
By the way what a disgusting idea!:S

stunning because it truly is, those significant pretzels have lots of protein. upload some nacho cheese and also you've were given a sturdy carb, protein balanced snack. relying on his age-a million/2 a pretzel is a million serving. once you've a Sam's club obtainable to you the pretzels are 20 for six greenbacks and the cheese is presented in a #10 can (the massive institutional length) for 5 or 6 greenbacks. So for below 15 greenbacks you've a sturdy tasting snack that lasts for 2 weeks or so. it truly is what I ate even as i became pregnant with my twins--my physician needed me to stability my carbs and proteins both and that became my famous snack!

definitely possible - virtually any post-partum female mammal can be milked. the problem is logistics - how can it be done? i doubt a female elephant would submit gently to human milking. this is a question for zookeepers.....
btw, my guess is that elephant milk would taste dreadful.

Yes for sure - people will milk anything if they don't have another option! Dunno how you could sample it though without going to another country - not much elephants around here to milk! Try your local zoo!
