Okay lets make a list:
1. Door catches, what makes your refrigerator door seal? magnetics.

2. Speakers in your stereo systems.

3. Toys.

4. Some home security systems have them on doors and windows.

5. All electric motors. They turn by passing an electric current through a magnetic field. That includes everything from your can opener, your hair dryer, your electric knife, a power drill, a fan, etc. all electric motors.

Anything with an electric motor will have magnets (the magnets are internal to the motor), as well as speakers, and older TV sets. Also, some screwdrivers and hammers are magnetized to hold screws and nails in place while driving them.

believe it or not, you are probably sitting next to the most powerful magnet in your house. it is inside the hard drive of your computer. if you have an old computer or crashed hard drive around, open it up and have a look. but i would watch your fingers if you decide to use it for a fridge magnet.

I could make a list the same as all the other answer's, but that pointless. The one thing all of them have missed is microwave ovens, they have two powerful magnets in the magnetron which cause's the electron to spin.
