I Got The Right Answer - But, That Was With Using The Same Sign Three Times...

Thank You!!

Considering that we have lost two space shuttles and some other near disasters with them why is it that the moon landing seems impossible. The technology back in the 60s was 1000 percent behind of what we have now. The engineering of automobiles back then was horrible and the engineering pool was also pretty limited in every aspect So how can one assume anything but hoax when the idea of a successful trip to and back to the moon seems like science fiction ..Also, why haven't we returned in nearly 40 years.

A mathematically backed answer would be much appreciated! Please by all means use fourier to answer if you can.

Even an answer without mathematical backing would be appreciated.

A rigid tank of small mass contains 55.0 g of argon, initially at 230°C and 100 kPa. The tank is placed into a reservoir at 0°C and is allowed to cool to thermal equilibrium. Calculate the following:

(a) The volume of the tank
**I found to be 57.59 L, which is correct. The rest is what I need help on...

(b) the change in internal energy of the argon
I know that the change in internal energy is equal to Q-W and thet W=Qhot-Qcold, but I'm not really sure what to plug in where to get this answer.

(c) the energy transferred by heat
Not even sure where to start with this...

(d) the change in entropy of the argon
I know that the change in entropy is equal to dQ/T and that
dQ = mcdT. I'm just really not sure what to use for what-- and what the change in temperature would be. Would the Argon cool to 0*C?

(e) the change in entropy of the constant-temperature bath

If we know that the rest mass of any particle is E = mc^2 then can somebody explain the following:

It was observed that a pion decays into a muon, and that their momentum was conserved. However their energy was NOT conserved. Thus it was hypothesized that there is another product of decay to conserve the energy. This new particle had to have zero mass for it to have no momentum - since momentum = MV. Thus they come up with the nuetrino to conserve the energy. However, since the nuetrino has no mass, how can it have energy? - Remember, E = mc^2 !! This has been puzzleing me for a while now!!! any help at all would be great.
