Find are 3 factors over C, of -: 2z^3 + 9z^2 + 14z + 5

The problem is, finding the first factor using P(x) [factor theorem], i tried (-1 to -10) and (1 - 10) but none of them have P(x) = 0

sorry, i knows its a dumb question, but all i need to know is how they got the first factor, and then i can get the rest my myself.

And plz explain your answer in step by step, because i know the answer but i don't know how they get it!

plz help, its from my specialist math book (Heinemann VCE zone unit 3&4)

Physics can very accurately describe the behavior of the elementary particles that make up matter, but doesn't really say WHAT they are. They're treated like mathematical points. Is there any way to describe just what particles -are-? Concentrated energy? Vacuum field fluctuations? Projections from higher dimensions?

Clear and in focus, no physical objects that could explain what they were.
Seen them for 1-2 mins and then they were gone.
I don't believe in ghosts or supernatural stuff but interested in any serious possible explinations

So I was taking this statistics class, and apparently, to determine population standard deviation I have to know the population mean, the number of members in the population, and the value of each of them.

That's just fine for theoretical work, and supercomputers, but suppose I'm playing dungeons and dragons, and I want to know the standard deviation for a 3d6 roll. I can quickly see that the mean is 10.5, and that all values will range between 3 and 18. With a little calculation, I can determine that there would be 216 permutations, which would make up the population... but do I really have to subtract the mean from each of these 216 values, square the result, and add them together before dividing by the number of permutations? Since I know what every single number is going to be, isn't there some easier way to get the right number without pushing over a thousand separate buttons on my calculator?

I am looking for the technical details on How AA or AAA batteries are charged? What is the amperage or voltage used to charge them? I understand the battery is the link that closes the circuit, which allows power to flow through it, and eventually charges. However, what are the amps or volts going through it at that time? What is the rate of speed that the power is traveling through the battery? If the speed at which it travels can be altered, can the amount of power being used be altered as well? Anyone hear of or know of negative energy? I am not an electrician nor an engineer. However, I am beginning to research this idea of mine that I believe can produce wonderful and amazing results if technically possible...

Thank you, Steve, Phillip. If my question is correct, I am not confused anymore. In some books use E=1/2(Icm+Md>2) to give E(rolling)=E(rotational,CM)+E(translational). In my humble understanding, it is not a good way because the body turns about CM, the parallel theorem is not applied. By accident, the coincidence happens only! The explanation must be vice versa. In some case, for example, the circular motion of a particle also gives 1/2mv(squared)=1/2mr(squared)w(squared) by accident. However, the circular motion is different from the rotational. Right?
Thank you all for sharing with me, especially for Steve's sharing.

I have a debate topic in biology. I was put on the con side of evolution, which makes it the same as creationism. It's pretty hard, because you have all this evidence on evolution. Are there any strong statements supporting con-evolution? If so, what are they?

I can say this, since there is no end point in the universe there is no point of return, even for light. Light is traveling every time to reach the end.
