When I look through a metal screen on a box screened on four sides the opposite wall appears magnified greatly. This also happens through one chain link fence with another beyond (the second fence is magnified).

Yes. Mostly correct. Resistance/impedance basically same. He might get best answer. But - Nobody actually checked their answers with a multimeter. Come on, be truthful. What was the difference between your algebraic answer(we all know ohm's law) and the reading on your meter?? And why? I want to know. This is not a silly trick question. I am a qualified man and would really like an answer to this before I kick the bucket. Oh, and yes, thanks to the answerer(there's a new word for you!) who reminded me about the temp. difference. Please come back to me on this one. I have really enjoyed your input - it is nice to talk to intelligent people.

I asked a question earlier about lamp resistance. There were some respectable answers. But.... Work it out again - lamp (bulb) 240v 100w. Resistance in ohms = ? Then get your multimeter out and set it to whatever to read the resistance - and DOES IT AGREE WITH YOUR ALGEBRAIC ANSWER?
