i.e, does autumn occur in all places in a country at the same time, or does it travel from, say, North To South, and if so, can the speed be calculated.
A friend said that it travels around 45Km per day N to S, but i've been unable to confirm this. Cheers.

I know about eagles vortexing upwards on thermals. When other birds, like terns, whip and vortex around at sunset, for example, are they riding on low thermals? What is the air doing as it's churned up by their movements?

These energys are built up during flight, do not disappate in space, and takes a series of S curves to disappate during the decent back thru our atmosphere. What are the energys? Why don't they disappate in space? And why the S curves? They must not be harmful energys: Space walks, or is that due to grounding, or lack of?

John is at a table with other people. He has $1 more than the person to his right & that person has $1 more than the person to his right and so on around the table. Then, John gives one dollar to the person to his right and he in turn gives $2 to the person to his right and that person gives $3 to the person to his right and so on. This process continues around the table as many times as is necessary until someone has no money left. At that time, John has 9 times the money as the person to his right. How many men are there along with John, how much money did he start with, and how much money does he have at the end?
Can you prove the uniqueness of the solution?

The area of the flower bed can be represented by the equation A=1/2b^2-b.

1.Write this equation in factored form.
2.Suppose the base of the flower bed is 16ft. What will be its area?

For example Pyrite mostly consists of FeS2 but it often contains impurites such as Nickel and Cobalt. What I don't undertand is how such impurites "interconnect" with the FeS2 crystal lattice. In other words what effect do impurities have on a mineral major chemical make up in terms of its lattice structure?
