Lactic acid, your teeth is mostly Hydroxyl apatite (hydroxyapatite) which is very resistance to many acids( including H2SO4) but there are some calcium carbonate between them (CaCO3) which will solve in almost any acid! So it gets corroded. One of our teachers once said that the CaCO3 is here to help the dentists gain some money!
