My son asked this one. I cannot find the answer.
What happens to the light when you turn a flashlight off at night?
My guess was it is still there, but becomes so diluted by bouncing around, it is no longer bright enough for us to see it.

Well i was watching the discovery channel last night. And it was talking about how the sun will eventually turn into a white dwarf. I already knew all of this of course. But i was wondering since the sun gets hotter and bigger every second until it eventually burns out. Could this be a reason why the earth is warming up and the ice caps are melting blah you know the usual global warming stuff haha. I think that pollution and everything plays a role of course. But if the sun thing is true. Wouldnt that mean really there is no way for are future generations to escape the destruction of earth.
