By what factor does its volume change? I got this question in Biology class and I don't understand it, can someone help me? My teacher gave me this extra information: The surface area of a sphere =4(3.14) radius to the 2nd power, and the volume of a sphere =4/3(3.14) radius to the 3rd power. Diameter = 2 x radius.

What is the concentration of HCl after 10.00 mL of 1.00 M HCl is mixed with 10.00 mL of .500 M NaOH?

I think I need to find the limiting reactant...

.01 L x (1.00 mol HCl/ L) x (1 mol H2O/ 1mol HCL) = .0100 mol H20

.01 L x (0.500 mol NaOH/ L) x (1mol H2O/ 1mol NaOH) =
.005 mole H2O.

So, the LR is NaOH.

What is left over is HCl, but I dont what to do next, or if I am doing right at all.

Thanks for your help.

before it kills someone? How long before it dissipates from the house? If animals were say in another room or other part of the house would they be safe? I'm asking because my brother-in-law did this the other day by accident, he said he felt the effects before he even raised up from where he poured the mixture, they shut the door to the room and turned on the fan, but we were worried if it had been left un-attended would it have harmed the animals in the house. About a 1200 sq. ft, open area with a full basement, where the cats probably would've hid. So does anyone know? I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

65kW is to arrive at a town over two 0.100ohm lines. How much power is saved in the voltage is stepped up from 120V to 1200V and then down again, rather than simply transmitting at 120V. (It is assumed that the transformers are 100% efficient).

Thanks in advance!
