I need to evaluate this integral:

IntegralFromMinusInfinityToInfinity( e^(ax^2) )dx

Where a is an IMAGINARY constant.

I initially thought that the Gaussian integral, which gives the result
sqrt(pi / -a) would work, but it is now my understanding that it does not hold for complex or imaginary a.

Can anyone help?
If you could provide a proof, that would be great, but really I only need the answer for a physics calculation that i'm doing.

Hi I was wondering if anyone had any information on a creature that looks almost identical to a lobster but lives on the land. I saw it once in a documentary but cant seem to find any information on it.

It lives on land and not in the sea and eats coconuts and other vegitation.

Any links or images will help.

I have a bet riding on this with my mates.

Especially when some of their own scientists are researching the topic and coming to vastly different conclusions then other "reductionist" scientists?

Cardiologist Michael Sabom reported a famous case in which a woman underwent deliberate "stand still" to stop bleeding in the brain. Her EEG registered absolutely nothing, including her brain stem. Yet, during this time she reported a profound NDE, which stunned scientists:
