Are they born like that or can a human body be conditioned to become immune to such things? I always wondered...

Ninjas used to build up immunity to toxins by poisoning themselves with the very substance they used IN SMALL QUANTITIES....The human body will realize that it is being invaded by a foreign substance and will fight it off. T-Cells will produce an antibody that destroys the toxin and will remain in the bloodstream encase that toxin ever comes back. Larger doses over time will increase the antibody load until the toxin would be rendered useless against a person who has "self immunized." (Ever wondered what the flu shot really was? TAKE A GUESS!!!)

As for electroshock.....I don't think that the body can tolerate shock. (Depending on severity.) The body relies on electricity in a small part to regulate heart beat. A few shocks could send the heart into arrhythmia and lead to heart attack.

some people become immune to snakes poison and some other poison . first as poison kills people by blocking the blood flow and thats why the body of the poisoned become blue as the un purified blood flows in the body results in death some people who are taking drug or some hard smoke builds a auto generated immune for poison as these are also to some extent poison.

and the immune for electricity is not a immune but a resistance of cathode and when electric flows in the body only anode is present and so the circuit does not complete which results as shock absorver.

Its possible to be immune to electricity. I know because I'm immune myself. I was born with it and I know I'm immune because I have been shocked bare skin many times without any pain or feeling. I've even been tased when I was 8 (long story) and I didn't feel a thing. I've checked and my pulse stays normal when I'm being shocked even with strong voltage. I have no idea why I guess it's just one of those one in a million things. If the immunity has a limit I don't know, and frankly I'm not going to push the gift I've been given. I'm just happy I have this ability and I hope there will be a way someday this can be transferred to others.

I think your body produces little more antibody for each snake bites so each time becoming better prepared to defend against poison. I don't know about electrical shocks. But your body have way to deal with infection, poisons so it will be better prepared on next attack to its system.

Some people have been bitten by snakes so many times it no longer affects them the way it should, never heard of anyone becoming resistant to electric shocks though.

It can become tolerant to some extent, not immune.
