The ancients thought they would live longer taking it, and stocked up on it, and even now people have a thing about it.

Is there some thing special about it, is it rare like gold, or is it just pretty?

Can anyone tell me how a baby's blood type is determined. I know it's a mix of genetics, but I 'm looking for a more detailed answer. For example, what type does it take to give a baby O+ when the mom is A+.

And what is the rare or special blood type that can be given to anyone if using donated blood.

Suppose we Earthlings were to somehow come into contact with a civilization from somewhere else in the Universe. It is very likely that our two species would have great differences in biology, social structure, communication methods, and nearly every other aspect of culture, civilization, and life. So what then would be the common ground? What do you think are things that are so fundamental that both of our civilizations understand them? How would you initiate dialogue or correspondence? Do you think they would understand mathematics and physics in a similar manner as us?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

You cross a Drosophila female with forked bristles (f) and black body (b) to a true breeding wild-type male. You get only wild type female and forked male progeny. There are no black progeny. Are forked and black on the same chromosome? Are they X-linked? Explain.

I saw the lady (space tourist) on tv who went to the space station for 11 days. She said while she was there she saw 32 sunsets as a line of darkness moved across the earth. It got me to thinking about time outside of earth. How does that work? She was there for 11 earth days, is that different from 'space' days?
