When the planet Mars becomes habitable, or we make it habitable; and we have the technology to go to the red planet; should we maybe cross-breed our animals? Like the Liger that's crossbred from a lion and tiger.Cross-breed them so that we would have some unique, or almost unique animals on the red planet?
I mean wouldnt that kinda suck or seem boring everything was the same on mars as it is on Earth?Wouldnt it be more interesting if we sent some almost different animals and stuff to mars so that it would be unique and standout from the earth.Yes, the first animals would be decendents of animals on Earth, but eventually after a couple of generations or so, they would stand out as unique.
The animals, plants, and maybe food assuming it's all heathy and everything.

So who thinks it's a good idea? And who thinks I've lost my mind?

I volunteered to help out at a science festival thing at an elementary school, but the topics are all physics-related, so I have no idea what they are:
1. standing waves (demo:slinky)
2. resonance (demo:tuning fork, Chinese spouting bowl)
3. energy conversion (demo:metal balls you strike on paper to burn a little hole, name?)
4. temperature (demo:polarized light crystal sheet)

Give me a little background (easily understood, I don't really want to know too many physics terms) on each, and how to explain it to little kids... Thanks! :)
