I am zero at this topic, but VERY interested in it. The only knowledge I have about physics is Physical Science class in the 9th grade in High School. I would like to know if you have any book recommendations or websites, etc. Thanks.

I am a good example of the type of person who resists sleep whenever it's time for me to go to bed. Some children do it too, if not most. Why does the urge to stay awake overcome the need for sleep? Isn't it ideal for the human body to prefer sleep over wakefulness at bed time? Is it just the feeling of not wanting to miss anything, or is there a biological reason for it (other than caffiene)?

*go grab a spoon* hold the spoon straight up and look into the part of spoon that holds the food, your reflection is right side up, now...turn the spoon over, and your reflection is up-side down....Please tell me why this is, when the spoon is of the same material..or is it that the image is doing a mirror image reflection and makes it look like this? lol this is my guess...please someone explain this to me.....

Plaskett’s binary system consists of two stars that revolve in a circular orbit around a center of mass, midway between them. This means that the masses of the two stars are equal. If the orbital velocity of each star is 220 km/s and the orbital period of each is 1404 days, find the mass of each star and compare the mass of the stars to the Sun of the earth.
