Do animals become cannibals?

They do. there are a few examples.
some spiders bite the head off their partners after they mate.
piranhas turn on one another when they are hungry.
there are many examples.
even people can become cannibals. in some tribes in papua new guinea, you respect an old person who has passed on by eating him/her. however that practise has been stopped bcos it was spreading kuru (a disease)

Yes. When food is in short supply and the animals territory is insufficient to feed them they will turn on one and another. Only recently have I seen this in the wild and it was taped by professionals. A pack of wolves had come out of their own territory in a bleak winter and found the Alpha male with the kill of it's own pack. The pack attacked the alpha male killed it and apparently they were quite happy about it as you could see their tails wagging vigorously as they gutted the wolf they had just killed. Up to this point it was a debate as to whether wolves could be cannibalistic or not. The recent video recording of this incident put the debate to rest.
I'm sorry I can't give you the details of the tape, I think I saw the recording on the Discovery Channel's "Daily Planet". Don't quote me on it though, I only remember seeing the recording; not where I saw it.

Yes. The two I remember for sure are crocs and alligators. There are others but I don't remember exactly which ones. Check out the National Geographic website; they may have more info.
