*go grab a spoon* hold the spoon straight up and look into the part of spoon that holds the food, your reflection is right side up, now...turn the spoon over, and your reflection is up-side down....Please tell me why this is, when the spoon is of the same material..or is it that the image is doing a mirror image reflection and makes it look like this? lol this is my guess...please someone explain this to me.....

thanks

One side of the spoon is convex (bends out) and the other is concave (bends in). The reflection on the concave side is upside-down because, as you say, "the image is doing a mirror image reflection".

It has to do with the shape of the spoon. One side is curved in, and the other side curves out.
