On 3 different mornings this week, I have gone outside and found several stones, of various sizes, (3" - 8" diameter), all smooth surfaced, all surfaces are "rounded", (No corners, flat surfaces, or rough edges). The actually look like very large cobblestones. There are no stones like these anywhere in my landscaping, or, in any of my neighbor's landscaping. I have a VERY large tree in the front yard which creates a very dense canopy over the majority of my lawn. The portion of the lawn where I keep finding the stones is the only portion which the tree canopy does not cover. The first time, there were 11 stones, 2nd time - 29 stones, this morning - 84 stones. The neighborhood residents are overwhelmingly older people, our kids grown and gone, no kids running mthe streets to be pulling a prank. Any ideas?
