OK, I know that salt water boıls at a higher temperature than fresh water, so therefore fresh water boils quicker. What I want to know is, do they both increase in temperature at the same rate? If given the same heat and conditions, do they both increase in temperature at the same rate but then salt water raches its boiling point later? Or does one of them heat up faster before boiling? and why? why are the solutes changing the properties of the water? thanks

So, how do we do it? I was thinking I could stuff blankets or foam rubber around it's intake of air valve and this would over-heat it..
Is this possible, or is there a better way?

Does anyone know how the compass in Google Earth is oriented? I assume it points to true north, and not to magnetic north for any given location--but I just wanted to double check. Thanks,

Is it just me or are Satellites getting bigger, or in a lower orbit?

Twice this week now, i have seen satellites that appear as a bright star, not quite as bright as the North Star though. They certainly were not planes, or meteors.

Has anyone else noticed this?
