I heard that Buzz Aldrin became 'odd' after his walk on the moon, triggered by an emotional or religious breakthrough, from seeing the earth from so far away. Has anyone heard this and is it confirmed? Did he have a spiritual or emotional upheaval?

I am curious on other methods of slowing down the speed of time realitive to the observer. Like being on Jupiter would slow down time because of it 23 times Earths gravity so I suspect. Has anybody thought of sending a probe onto Jupiter to find out? I know aproaching the speed of light also slows down time too. Black holes would. Is there any other way to slow down time other then being in a crushing gravity well or being crushed by increasing velocity in a space ship.
Is there another way to slow down or to stop time completely. No video or sped up film for an answer. I think I have a solution to this problem but I need to ask if I anyone else has come up with an answer better then my own. Think about it.

So I'm sitting in my English class right now and there's been a claim made that all mammals have hair. I argued against this. All mammals breastfeed their babies, that's the criterion. Am I right about the hair - not all of them have it, right? Dolphins and whales are mammals, and I do not think they have hair (well, maybe nose hair).

How do you determine wheter the given differential equation has the indicated function as solution?

2y'-y = 0

a. y1(x)= e^(x/2)

b. y2(x)= X^2 + 2e^(x/2)

I can find the general solution for that, but how do you tell if those functions are solutions?
