6^0 = 6^(1-1)
and
6^(x-y) = 6^x/6^y (where x and y are any 2 numbers)

So
6^0 = 6^(1-1) = 6^1/6^1
which equals 6/6, which equals 1.

because unlike 6 tmes 0... with means zero groups of six... six to the power of zero mean 6 times itself no times. But it does not mean the number doesn't exist. So, you have 1.
