i was reading about this group of scientists that want to cryogenicaly super freeze the human brain and transplant it in another body, but there worried that the brain will be damaged by the transplant procedure not from the ice but the handling of the brain itself, do you think this procedure has any chances for success?

My house has been hit by lightening so many times that I have lost count......but there are other houses in the neighbourhood- so why mine? Some people claim that lightening is attracted to underground rivers. We have 2 laylines running through our house and since these are also associated with sub-terranian waterways- maybe there is a connection. Our house is elavated very slightly on a hill so subtle that you couldn't see it by the naked eye - so we are probably just about the tallest house by 2 inches. How does the lightening know to head for our roof- or could that underground water theory be true? If so, how can it spot underground water. Has it a brain?

For example, as I understand it, only maybe two out of six marksmen in a firing squad are issued with live rounds. The others presumably have a live charge to give the impression that they have fired a live round but that way no-one knows who actually killed the target. Therefore what I'm wishing to find out is: does a dummy round give a recoil when fired, or is that the characteristic of a blank round. I notice from photos, a blank has no bullet, whereas a dummy has a bullet.

What voltage do railway signal lamps operate on in Australia?

A rail-working friend of mine gave me a lamp that had been replaced with a newer one - but still works. We have (for non-Aussies) a 240 Volt mains power supply (16 Amp I think) but was wondering if that'd be too much power to hook up to these?

Would a 12V battery work?

Does anyone know?

ANY help appreciated!
