I think that every man is the smartest man in his own given right. Intelligence is entirely relative regardless of what "standards" may teach us. If you take a physicist, with an IQ of 167, and a farmer with an IQ of 110, and you put the farmer in the physics lab, and the physicist on the farm, the farmer of course would have no idea of doing physics, and the physicist would have no idea how to take care of a sick cow. In my opinion intelligence is entirely relative to environment, and is more guaged by the individuals abilities of adaptation and application rather that accumulated knowledge (regurgitation).

It is impossible to say who is the smartest. There are many very smart men, but no one knows everything. Even super geniuses like Steven Hawkings, don't know everything. There are others who are just as smart as Hawkings, who most people have never heard of. They are just not as famous and know things other than someone known like Hawkings. Regardless, how smart someone is, it is impossible to have all knowledge and all experience.
