I am filipina and black. when I was first born, i looked filipino (straight hair) When I was 3 i looked mixed ( curly hair) but then when I entered grade school, I looked black ( very curly hair..think scary spice.) However, now that I am in college I look stereotypically half white ( tan skin, wavy hair.)

No one even believes Im half asian, everyone thinks I am half white. Or hispanic. My great great grandmother was 3/4 white and my grandfather was spaniard filipino.

However, how is it possible for me to start off looking one race.. then almost look like i am changing races late in life? No, I am not doing anything to alter my looks.

My friends and I were looking at my old pix and we all think it's uncanny. We debated if we should email a science prof at our university, we're that curious. Thanks in adavance!

I get confused with directions east west north and south. Kindly let me know exactly the direction in connection with rising sun, setting sun and other.
You can choose this way:
The direction you face when you see rising sun - east/west/north/south.
On your right side when you see rising sun east/west/north/south
On your left side when you see rising sun east/west/north/south
On your back side when you see rising sun - east/west/north/south

Trying to udwrstand the physics involved in balloon. Consider a small blob of radius r1. You blow it to radius r2. Now at r2, the balloon is trying to get to r1. What keeps it at r2?

Also, say the ballon suddenly develops a tendency to shrink (i.e. its surface area begins to shrink linearly in time) then what would be required to keep it at r2? (You can assume a blower inside)

Would appreciate equations. Thanks.
