Yep, all whirlpools on either side of the equator spin in opposite directions, save those caused by irregularities on the bottom, for the same reasons that the prevailing winds head West to East and move towards the equator.

The water spins in the opposite direction, yes. Not only in a toilet but any drain. It also has to do with the shape of the toilet and the manner in which the water enters it. But usually counter-clockwise in the Northern hemi and clockwise in the southern.

I have stood on the equator in Quito, Ecuador and pulled the plug on a drain 3 feet north of the exact equitorial line and it swirled clockwise. I pulled the same plug on the same drain three feet south of the exact equatorial line and the water swirled counter clockwise. Coriolis effect is a fact.

Nope. The commodes are designed different (shape-wise) in Australia ; probably in lots of southern hemisphere locales as well. I think this contributed to the myth. Their shape is not conducive to 'swirling' as they flush.

the side of the equator does not matter you can make vortex swirl either way it all depends on the initial inertia this will cause the vortex to swirl the same way as it was started

No. The direction of water flow has more to do with design than gravity.
