So, okay, I've got a question, being not an entirely physics junkie yet. This may be a simple answer, but maybe not...

Electrons are negatively charged, and protons are positively charged and neutrons are basically neutral, right?

So, all things being equal I'm assuming protons ane electrons have approximately the same strength of positive and negative charge yes?

And like charges repel whereas opposite charges attract?

So, why is it that atoms prefer the structure of protons in the nucleus and electrons in the shells as opposed to electrons in the nucleus and protons in the shells?? Shouldn't both ways of doing it be equally viable?

IE, would it be possible to have a nucleus of electrons and neutrons orbited by a shell of protons? If so, or if not, why?

They both seem to have the same properties of attracting the other, and repelling themselves. So, one would think the same structure could be built either way?

Why isn't it? Or... is it in some instances?

So as to be able to travel between galaxies, one would have to move faster than light which is impossible according to Einstein. Hence if were to develop inter stellar flight we should be violating Einstein. Is it possible?

Many places in the world, especially the United States view this as a very touchy subject. Do you believe it is fact or fiction?
I see many people who still disagree that this theory is factual especially on a zoology page where much of the field of classification is based on evolutionary descent and adaptation.

Tell me what you think, I personally believe in all of it, it makes perfect sense from a strictly scientific perspective, but if you feel otherwise, let me know what you believe in and why.
I will award 10 points for the best answer....and I have no Bias....

I mean, the facts say clearly that the indigenous peoples that populated the Americas were never jews, Indian converts never turned white, (like the BOM used to say they would), there were no horses, elephants, wheat, barley, steel, etc... like in the book, and it is highly unlikely that Nephi had a steel archery set and even more unlikely that Jews would invent a new language for themselves out of Egyptian! So is there any non-lds, peer reviewed Archaeologist, Egyptologist, Linguist or Botonist that has ever signed on to this crap!!

For example: Being bipolar, depressed, or ADD. These are things people can not help, and are controlled by chemicals in the brain. What do you think. What makes a human being attracted to another, and why? What parts of the brain control these feelings.

I've been living in the south for most of my life, I've come to the conclusion that I HATE hot weather. The humidity is killer! I'm looking to visit a place that has alot of filtered sunlight, almost perpetual twilight, where the temperature doesn't reach above 70degrees.
Any help

I know that some people who are very good at math aren't necessarily the best spellers, but they are college educated too! Otherwise, they would be unfit to teach me!

(I don't have to worry about math lectures anymore, but it's just something I've always wondered about.)

Let's say there is a bridge nearby the ocean (like Golden Gate bridge in San-Francisco). On the bridge there are two cars: one is moving along the bridge, the other one is at a standstill . A strong wind is blowing from the ocean (with an equal force on every part of the bridge). Which car will be blown away first? The one that is moving or the one that is at a standstill? Why?
