If I ever had a kid, I would want to have a clone of myself. I'm not crazy, just think, you would know that person very well, understand their problems and difficulties very well. It would be amazing. Does anyone see a downside to this idea?

My oncologist prescribed Actonel to prevent osteoporosis. As part of my breast cancer treatment, they have chemically induced menopause. Now, my Infectious Disease doctor/husband, has read that these medications can cause osteonecrosis. Since I am just 50, I had planned on taking the Actonel on a long term basis. Is this safe? Before talking with my oncologist, I want to gather information. Please advise. Thanks.

I am looking to see if there is a mathematical equation to tell how high a baseball travels into the air when hit. I am sure that it depends on the angle of the ball (where is lands) in relation to home plate and obviously how long it is in the air. What about an equation for a ball that goes straight up in the air? If someone throws a ball straight up in the air? Any insight would be appreciated from all you mathematicians out there. Thank you.

I remember, as a child, watching shows about the future and they always predicted that by the year 2001, we'd all have robots to do our tedious daily chores and we'd be traveling in flying cars and monorails. What went wrong?

then are there like a million other planets out there? think of all the stars... are those suns for some planets? and if we are only in the milky way, then does that mean that there are other places that there could be living beings?

I am about to begin construction on a house and I am going well out of my way to make sure the entire house will be as energy efficient and independent as possible. All appliacnes will be able to run off of solar electric system EXCEPT air conditioning and no matter how much i search, this issue is a problem. The only alternative solution I might have found is a natural gas air conditioner. BUT I only have propane available from a 1000gallon tank (planned, I guess I could go bigger). I know that almost anything natural gas can be converted to propane, but would rather not void any warantee's and I don't know if those systems are economical. Please help with any information you can provide? Low power evaportaive a/c's they have out West don't work in Florida, too much humidity.

How would you find the equation of the tangent line to this equation at the point (pi/3, 1): 2cos^3(x). This is read as two times the cos of x cubed(I think...) The 3 is raised as an exponent between the cos and the x if that helps.
