A 3rd grader asked the question. The science specialist couldn't answer it and I couldn't find anything on the web, so I'd really appreciate being able to pass the answer on to this inquisitive mind.

Why is it that if you lock your knees (essentially cutting off circulation to your lower legs) you will faint? I thought fainting was blood not getting to your brain.

I am going to buy a telscope. My purpose is to just watch stars, not to take a picture or anything. I'd like to see nebula, galaxy more than planets(Mars, Jupiter, etc). I prefer 8" aperture. Here's what I like best. --> http://telescopes.com/products/celestron-starhopper-8-inch-dobsonian-25831.html#

I love that telescope. I reli wanna buy it. However, I'd like to know what eyepiece will be good for my purpose of watching? Again, I am gonna watch mainly nebula, galaxy, etc.

There's a theory that says if you have an invisible dog sitting on a counter, then it must be true because you can't see it. And that is supposed to be proof that the invisible dog exists.
It's an invisible dog.... You can't see it. Ergo, it must be there.

I've done this once before, but didn't have anyone with me who spoke Latin. What a mistake that was. It's kind of dangerous, with all the pillaging and all, but can be very rewarding. If you would like to be considered, reply here and tell me a little about yourself. Do you know how to use a sword? Make a sword? Ride a horse? Make fire? Are you strong? In good health? No contact lenses wearers!! No one with allergies or bad gas either! I mean it. This trip will probably take us a year, but you will be back immediately after we leave.

How authenticated is the sale of land on moon? There are many realtors selling land on moon. Is it real that land on moon is on sale? Can we trust those companies about their authenticity?
I mean, how can they own moon to be able to sell it?
