I seem to be interested in physics, but I am not sure about employment and demand for physicists. I am still a high schooler and am not sure of what career to pursue. What kinds of employers look for physicists? Do they also get good pay?Bachelor, Masters, or P.h.d.?

I need to synthesize a polymer with a melting point somewhere around 20-25 C. It would need to have all the same sort of things people-friendly chemicals need (non-carcinogenic, preferably flame-resistant, if possible, etc.) Any help on this would be most appreciated, along with any on how one would go about making this polymer.

Do any people actually make their own metal.. like start with heating the earth material at high temperatures, mixing it.. putting it in the oven and then also making their metal things with it? And no i don't mean buying metal and then using machines/computers to shape the metal..like they do in motorcycle companies. I mean metal from scratch.ALSO i mean the average person, not big corporations. have any of you done it?

I was watching the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle and remembered watching a program on The Discovery Channel some months back regarding a volcanic eruption in the late 1800s somewhere around Indonesia. The eruption was of such that it created electrical charges in the air. Ships on the sea lost their ability to navigate as their compasses quit working correctly. Is it possible that such phenomena could happen beneath the seas? And if so, could that be a possible explanation for some of the mysteries that lie beneath the Bermuda Triangle?
